Welcome to the

Continuing George’s Legacy of Environmental Stewardship and Community Advocacy
The George Abrahams Foundation is a nonprofit public benefit organization promoting environmental protections and government transparency and accountability for the benefit of all. We enforce protections for residents, conserve natural habitats, safeguard animal welfare, and protect the historical and cultural heritage of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County. We advocate for quality of life issues related to planning, zoning, and the built environment.
GAF was created in honor of George Abrahams, who worked relentlessly on these issues. It is our honor and privilege to continue his important work.
GAF files its first lawsuit against the City of Los Angeles
The Department of City Planning once again violates the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), this time, increasing noise and vibration levels with no regard to how this impacts the public, the environment or wildlife.
